Folks, in case it hasn't been made crystal clear, JAWS versions 4.51 up to
the current 7.0 have scripts for Winamp built right in. So if you have
those versions, you *do* have Winamp scripts, I promise.
So let's not confuse this any further.
I think the reason some people can hear the volume status has to do with the
amount of verbocity you use. In the beginner level, you hear when the volume
is up or down with the press of the up and down arrow keys. In intermediate
and advanced however, this is not the case.
I hope this is helpful to anyone still confused.
