Hi there: my friend can't get winamp to play files on her windows 7 list. She did get the latest version from White Stick. What can she do to have it play? Does she have to go get it again? From white stick? Do you think something is or was corrupt in her computer. For me,it will play. I don't know what I did to make it slow; but I blew it away (it was version 5.33) and got the latest one. It's better but still not as fast to start as 5.33 once was. They've really changed around the information screen. I don't like it much, but I guess I'll get used to it. It doesn't take 5 minutes or anything. But, it does take a few seconds. Good to be back. Just lately, when I enter on an mp3 file, winamp takes at least a full half minute to start playing the file. It also takes a very long time when starting it from the desktop icon. I am running Windows XP Pro, JAWS 11, Winamp 5.33. Any ideas? Thanks. Howard Making your enemy reliant on software you support is the best revenge.
