According to the Hydrogen audio forums, the media library support is very limited at this point so if you are someone who uses the media library heavily, I'd stay away from Mad for a while. also, unless your sound card supports 24-bit playback, configuring the plugin and winamp to play in 24-bit mode won't improve the sound any so you'd might as well leave everything at 16-bit if that's the maximum that your sound card can support.
