  Hi Arleen,

This usually happens when I make a custom CD. If for example, I want an
album containing 3 Beatles Songs, 3 Rolling Stone songs, 5 Yes songs and 5
Emerson Lake and Palmer songs and if I copy mp3 or other format files to a
folder on my hard drive and if I then burn them to an audio CD, when I insert
this custom CD into the CD drive on my computer, Winamp comes up with this CD
database utility and this utility interferes with the basic operation of
Winamp. I have difficulty focusing on it and I have difficulty finding the
close button when as is likely, the database returns zero results.

Therefore, I would like to disable this database. Searches through the
preferences rendered no results for me.

    Hi List,

Whenever I put a home brew CD into the drive, Winamp launches, but since
this is a custom CD, the CD Database comes up and interferes with Winamp
performance. I have looked through preferences and I do not see how I can keep
the CD Database from launching when I put in a custom CD.

Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.
