I have been doing that for the last few hours and I have actually reclaimed the following: 1940's Big Band and classics 1950's Rock and Roll 1960's Rock And Roll 1970's Rock And Roll British Invasion Elvis Tribute Doo Wop Paradise. To find this information, you can go to the Winamp Library and highlight the AOL Radio and then use your JAWS cursor or Window-Eyes Mouse Pointer to grope around (quite literally) for the names of the various genres and then double-left click on them. After a few minutes, the list of result sunder the genre you have selected will appear--down near the bottom of the semi-virtual window. You must then grope around for the station name and then double-left click on it. It will then launch and you can save it to bookmark. Now I will attempt to copy and paste these items into this message--the ones I have mentioned above. They are very long, so if you try copying them, then be aware that they will wrap and you must avoid spaces. (note: the address is above the name of the stream. I have changed the stream name from the currently playing song at the time of bookmark to something more general.) uvox://firehose-bbnm.stream.aol.com/stream/22250?authToken=r%3D3567088%26sid %3D21750%26expires%3D1209707201117%26csum%3D4ae3945832030afed4ae0b88625fc30b &uid=WA-AC4A982CEB244BDCBDF0351ACA4167D4&sessid=407100B0CBEB44579025FEDDDD80 EDEE 1940's AOL Radio uvox://firehose-bbnm.stream.aol.com/stream/22317?authToken=r%3D6388761%26sid %3D21817%26expires%3D1209704692319%26csum%3D85dd62325afbc58c2bc15303026c9992 &uid=WA-AC4A982CEB244BDCBDF0351ACA4167D4&sessid=B2307A2A01DE441B879DB689F1D9 B8FC 1950's AOL Radio uvox://firehose-bbnm.stream.aol.com/stream/22002?authToken=r%3D9010155%26sid %3D21502%26expires%3D1209707498658%26csum%3D8a0d5d9caf9ce13ba792cc7c28d64e0f &uid=WA-AC4A982CEB244BDCBDF0351ACA4167D4&sessid=407100B0CBEB44579025FEDDDD80 EDEE 1960's AOL Radio uvox://firehose-bbnm.stream.aol.com/stream/22111?authToken=r%3D2842646%26sid %3D21611%26expires%3D1209707539963%26csum%3De553e116bd06d10350e7e28ddafb3bb6 &uid=WA-AC4A982CEB244BDCBDF0351ACA4167D4&sessid=407100B0CBEB44579025FEDDDD80 EDEE British Inbvasion AOL Radio uvox://firehose-bbnm.stream.aol.com/stream/22315?authToken=r%3D6775570%26sid %3D21815%26expires%3D1209707613212%26csum%3Dbbf2cc112a6530a2bd33b5275f927bc8 &uid=WA-AC4A982CEB244BDCBDF0351ACA4167D4&sessid=407100B0CBEB44579025FEDDDD80 EDEE 1970's AOL Radio uvox://firehose-bbnm.stream.aol.com/stream/22011?authToken=r%3D248569%26sid% 3D21511%26expires%3D1209707910908%26csum%3D1ef0b4638438cbe11d212005672bdf96& uid=WA-AC4A982CEB244BDCBDF0351ACA4167D4&sessid=407100B0CBEB44579025FEDDDD80E DEE Doo Wop AOL Radio uvox://firehose-bbnm.stream.aol.com/stream/22043?authToken=r%3D4661066%26sid %3D21543%26expires%3D1209708101519%26csum%3D88bad75a526b909f3ac69f1f2d5e26ec &uid=WA-AC4A982CEB244BDCBDF0351ACA4167D4&sessid=407100B0CBEB44579025FEDDDD80 EDEE Elvis Tribute AOL Radio ----- Original Message ----- From: EVAN REESE <mailto:mentat3@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: winamp4theblind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, May 02, 2008 12:01 AM Subject: Not All XM Channels Are Gone from AOL Just wanted to mention here that not all of the XM channels are gone from AOL; so if you have bookmarks for them, you may not want to simply delete them without checking first to see if they still work. The channels I know of that are definitely gone that I did have bookmarks for are Sixties on 6, Seventies on 7, Eighties on 8, Top Tracks and Deep Tracks. However, the bookmarks I have for Seventies Black Music, Eighties Alternative, Psychedelic and Progressive are still working. There may well be other channels that are working that I don't know about. I don't know whether these channels will keep on working, or whether they will drop out at any time. But I thought that I would mention to people that they should check their bookmarks before deleting them, and to not just assume that all of their XM bookmarks will no longer work. I have signed up for the free trial of XM, and I can tell you that Winamp bookmarks are by far the most convenient method for playing stations, so if you have any XM bookmarks that still work, you will certainly want to use the Winamp bookmark method to play them for as long as you can.
