Hi Sharonda

Taking Chris' and Robert's advice into account, the basics of what
you're going to do when you get around to it are as follows. As I
understand your original question, you want to transfer music from more
than one CD to a single CD. First, you'll need to pay the $14 for
Winamp Pro to do this at anything like the speed of which your computer
is capable. Then, when you play a CD in Winamp, you see a play list of
its contents in Winamp's play list editor window. You'll be selecting
tracks from that list, right clicking on one of the selected tracks, and
taking the "rip selected tracks" option. For best quality, assuming you
have a bit of spare disk space, you'd want to rip them as .WAV files so
there's no conversion from one format to another involved. Store all
the files in one place so that you end up with a bunch of files ripped
from more than one CD. You can then add all the tracks to your burn
list, and make your compilation disk, after which, you can delete all
those .WAV files. That's not supposed to be a step by step account of
how to do this, but I thought you might like to get an overview in
advance. There's usually more than one way of doing things in Winamp,
and others may have preferred ways around doing it.

Good luck with the learning curve

Reg
