Making Songs Show Up from a Sighted Perspective

I have a very nontechnical friend who is sighted and has just installed
Winamp. He wants songs that he's downloaded to "how up on that list of
songs at the bottom of the screen". Does anyone know what he means and how
he accomplishes this? He's using Winamp 5.04.
