Be sure that you are listening to a station that's suitable for your type of internet connection. Many stations have versions for both dial-up and broadband. If you listen to a station made for broadband users on dial-up, you'll have buffering problems until the end of time because your modem simply is not keeping up with the amount of data being sent. Remember, this ain't like traditional radio where the signal is sent through the air. The stream has to make its way from computer to computer to computer until it gets to yours. and if it makes it successfully without breakup, then it's ok. Miss a spot here and there, and you'll have buffering problems.
