Huge Prize Giveaway

Ten million dollars' worth of slightly-used newsprint; an autographed
picture of Angus the dentist; your own cow (talk about udder nonsense!);
half a jar of honey dill sauce; and an all-expense paid trip to see a
live broadcast of the Mosen Explosion. These are just some of the many,
many prizes not being offered in the huge Toews on the Waves prize
giveaway that won't be taking place this week on the show. Really, we do
wish we could afford a prize giveaway, and if you want to donate
something ...

What we do offer, however, is another fantastic edition of Toews on the
Waves for your listening and dancing pleasure. This week on the show, in
our twenty-minute spotlight, we'll be timely. It's all about chronology,
and we'll be featuring songs about time: clocks, time passing, time
slipping away, being in the nick of time, having good timing, and it's
just a matter of time before you hear something you'll like, I'm sure.
This week's Song I Can't Stand is the granddaddy of all songs I can't
stand. And remember, just because I can't stand a song doesn't mean I'm
saying it's a bad song; but any DJ can play their favorite songs, so for
one song per week I go the other way on TOTW. We also have Ripley's
believe It Or Not, as we do each and every week, your requests, and a
whole lot more. In our second hour it's two fantastic comedies from the
Golden Age of Radio: Life with Dexter from Australia, and Dad's Army
from England.

And speaking of requests, we have a new Toews on the Waves request line.
We plan to actually keep this one. The number is (206) 203-3070, and I'd
love to hear from you and play a request on the show. The other way to

what I can to be sure your request gets played. We also have a Toews on

So aftger all this, when and how do you hear the show? Well, if you know
how to listen to Jonathan's, like totally groovatudinous Mosen
Explosion,
then you know how to listen to TOTW, because both shows are proud to be
aired on The Legend. TOTW comes your way two hours after the Explosion
has ceased for the week, Sundays at 7:00 PM Eastern, otherwise known at
6:00 Central, 4:00 Pacific.
