Thanks to some help by a friend, I got this problem solved.
The problem was that I had enabled the MP-3 pro plugin. I'm not exactly sure if
it's because I enabled that plugin or if I didn't have it configured properly.
I unchecked that plugin and all is working fine again.
I am surprised by this as I understood that the MP-3 pro was one of the better
for streaming radio so possibly I did not have it configured properly. Now that
I have identified the source of the problem I may fool around with various
config options to see if I can get going again. Also, I would try it on a
slower
bit rate stream--one more compatible with my isp connection. I am sure glad I
can listen to the stream again though--it rates way up there with me.
