Yes, Chris has passed away. It has been confirmed by people very close
to him. I can't speak to the continuing status of this list of course.
I suspect the list traffic has dwindled because many people have moved
on from winamp, although I am not one of them. I still use winamp
literally every day. If people have Winamp questions, I will do the
best I can to help. Please keep Chris's family and friends in your
thoughts. he was a wonderful, caring, giving person; and we all have
him to thank for this means of discussing winamp within our unique
circumstances.

I heard a rumor on another list that the list owner Chris Skarsted has
passed away. Is this true and if so, what is the status of this list? It
