I understand from elsewhere that it may well be due to the fact that Gracenote
and Winamp have now parted ways.

I've been using WinAmp version 5.666 build 3516 very successfully on Windows
7 and the Autotagging feature worked fine: then, it suddenly stopped and I
started to get the failure that others have reported. It's nothing whatever to
do with Windows, my Internet connection, or anything but WinAmp.
