Duyahn, couldn't you just unload JAWS for this? Using the insert plus f4 key combo would allow Winamp to progress with zero speech interference, and you could just pop JAWS back on with a shortcut when desired. Or have I totally misunderstood what you're asking! The only way I know how to control that is just insert-s. Is there a way to actually control that within options? I don't want to break Jaws of course. I can't remember if being in the advanced setting in jaws affects it or not, but check and see what the screen echo is set to. I had a similar problem in another program, and when I set the screen echo to off instead of highlighted, it stopped it completely. Only problem is, I have to do this each time I restart the computer, and use that program again. Hope this points you in a general direction for a solution. I like putting my videos on shuffle and repeat when I go to sleep for background noise. Whenever I do this, it will start out with the first video playing. But, then, it will announce everything after that. Jaws is set to the advanced settings to. I have tried to find a work around for all three settings. If I try to turn off the announcement of items, then the Repeat function, and Shuffle functions are not announced in Jaws in the advanced options. If I turn then back on, then everything gets announced again. I have tried to reinstall Winamp with the same result. Can someone please help me? I am using JFW10 and no extra scripts either.
