An Oddcast Question

Hi folks,
I have a friend who just installed Oddcast and he uses Winamp to play his
tracks.
For some reason, his metadata is not coming through and, of course, it is
not showing up in Oddcast.
This may be a silly question. But, does Oddcast need to be put in the
Winamp folder and then used as the DSP plug-in or there something else that
he needs to do?
We looked in his Winamp preferences and did not see Oddcast as a DSP
possibility.
