ok i've updated my video driver (n4_mini.sys if the nvidia driver file) and it still crashes...pfn_list_corrupt! MS web doesnt really tell my a remedy, tech support says it's bad ram. i have 2 512 pc2700 sticks. i tested them (with burn in test software http://www.passmark.com/sales/index.php ) individually and they both pass together they both pass i rotated them from slot to slot and i was only able to get them to fail once. the stick i thought was bad passed indivdually. what does this mean? i cant get them to fail again. is it the MB? does the burn in not test ALL of the ram? if i let this go and boom it crashes agagin knowing my luck my warrenty eetc. will run out. 1 yr onsite 3 yrs off. new pc from www.cyberpowerpc.com any feed back or history of the company would be appreciated.TIA >From: "FREDINA SMITH" <tenaciously3d@xxxxxxxxxxx> >Reply-To: win2kforum@xxxxxxxxxxxxx >To: win2kforum@xxxxxxxxxxxxx >Subject: (no subject) >Date: Wed, 28 Aug 2002 21:10:06 -0700 > > >I have just bought a computer: >win2k sp3 >gig ram pc2700 >150 gig hd 7200 rpm 133 >athlon xp 2200+ cpu >asusu mb kt333 >geforce 4600ti 128 mb graphics card >dvd drive >plextor cdrw >network car >modem >crative labs audiology 5.1 sound >spaceball 4000flx >microsoft intellipoint 4 for explorer 3.0a mouse >viewsonic e90fb monitor > >will give more info if asked > >anyway i will be working in a CAD software or photo software or one time >only ctl+copying a shortcut to my desktop and for no reason i get this, >among others, blue screen of death: >go here to see image http://bluscreenodeath.tripod.com > >i was looking for ram check software or someone to decode the stop address >code or what ever the hell it is. please help me i will give any specific >info about bios etc. if asked TIA > > > >_________________________________________________________________ >Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com > >----- > >To unsubscribe, send a message to win2kforum-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx and put >"unsubscribe" in the subject of the message. >To reach the administrator(s), send a message to >win2kforum-admins@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx ----- To unsubscribe, send a message to win2kforum-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx and put "unsubscribe" in the subject of the message.
