I have never encountered a pb with the connection on the server . But what is weird (Now I remember that ) I have also a home folder for each user and I have nevedr a pb with that. It is always available and works fine ! So , in the settings of the users , thr roaming profile seems not to work ,while the same user has access to his home folder in "my Computer" normally. Kind of weird ?? -----Original Message----- From: win2kforum-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:win2kforum-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of L.W. If you are having problems with roaming profiles, then you are probably having problems with file sharing off the server generally: is this the case? Is your server in distress? Note that Netbios can still take time for name resolution to converge (under some circumstances, anyway), and that the process you described below may not have provided enough time for the workstations to regain full access to the server. On the failing workstations, use NBTSTAT -s to determine if there is a session between the wkstn and server. If your server is a single AD without a replication partner, it may take some time for the replication engine (the 'Knowledge Consistency Checker' to determine that the sysvol can be shared out - check your server's event log for events related to this.
