Promote another to Windows 2000 & AD before you use dcpromo to remove AD
from this one. Otherwise, you will lose your active directory structure.
No, server manager will not work with 2000 & AD.

I have upgraded my PDC to a 2000 domain controller. I still have 8 BDC's to
upgrade. In the meantime I want to demote this 2000 domain controller
promote another. Can I still use Server Mgr to do this?
