The crash only happens with "unlucky" font sizes (I think).

I get them on solaris by doing the following:

1. Have wily running with two columns, the right one empty and the left one
   with a directory open
2. Select the directory window and click Split 10 times
3. Drag the top directory window to the right column
4. Resize the columns by left click dragging the right column back
   and forth.
5. Every so often (within a few tries for me) when making the right column
smaller (dragging it to the right) text seems to get left overlapping the
tags of some windows in the left column.

I seem to get them more often on linux - but that may be the significantly
larger font size I'm using on it...

The flickering redrawing mess that results even when no artifacts remain
may not be safe for those with epilepsy :)

Of course it's not like Splitting directories is useful or anything.
"Doctor it hurts when I do this..." comes to mind :)
