Hello Fellow Unemployment Insurance Attorney:

A group of UI attorneys have been working to provide great workshops for
the National Unemployment Insurance Directors' Conference and Legal Issues
Forum to be held in Salt Lake City, Utah from October 24 through October
27, 2005.

The program for UI attorneys has been expanded with 2 additional workshops
on Tuesday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. A networking lunch for UI
attorneys will be held on Tuesday from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 a.m. Wednesday
4 workshops will fill the entire day. Stanley Boone, Assistant United
States Attorney from California will provide insight into his prosecution
of a multi-million dollar unemployment fraud scheme and identity theft
ring. Karen Cordry, bankruptcy counsel for the National Association of
Attorney General will highlight the 2005 bankruptcy reform/legislation,
with a focus on UI overpayment collection. SUTA Dumping implementation,
confidentiality and able & available regulations, and an open forum
discussion are on the agenda.

We hope you will make plans to attend these information packed workshops.
As always, information and sharing, which are a trademark of the UI
Directors' Conference are available to all participants. Simply go to the
NASWA.org website workforce calendar, National UI Directors' Conference
and Legal Issues Forum, October 24-27 and click on register. Remember many
states will allow continuing legal education credits for attending these
workshops.

If you are planning to attend the conference, please reserve your room at
the hotel by this Saturday, September 24, 2005 as that is the last day the
block of rooms for reservations will be set aside.
