Award of Merit

Hello UI Attorneys,

The UI Attorneys Committee is now accepting nominations for the 2005
Unemployment Insurance Legal Award of Merit. We apologize for the short
time frame which is due to the development of criteria and format for the
award.

You may remember that Carol Brassey and Jerry Hildebrand received the 2004
Unemployment Insurance Legal Award of Merit. If you have an outstanding
lawyer or other individual who has made a strong contribution to the study
and advancement of the Unemployment Insurance Law, please take the time to
submit a nomination on the attached forms. Candidates should have provided
leadership and exemplary service to customers and administrators of the UI
program. Nominees will have provided dedicated service in drafting
legislation and education concerning the Unemployment Insurance Program.
The complete criteria are listed in the attachment.

E-mail or fax the attached forms for a nominee to Carol Brassey at
Carol.Brassey@xxxxxxxxxxxx, fax 208-334-6125 by close of business on
Monday, September 26, 2005.

The award will be presented at the UI Attorney's luncheon at 11:45 a.m. on
Tuesday, October 25, 2005 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Thanks.
Joe Bervid
