Tee, You have to read closely. He said: "If my calculations are correct, then $50 for one gig of traffic is not bad not bad at all". However, he did not say 'not bad' for whom. Not bad for the supplier. Or, not bad for the customer. If it is 'not bad' for one, it could be 'bad' for the other. Or, on the other hand, it could be 'not bad' for both. ;-))) >From: "DesignWorks" <tchapman@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > >Really?? That doesn't seem like a lot to me for 20 domains and 1 gig of >traffic.. :o) but what do I know! (not much obviously!!!!) I guess I think 1 GIG is still A LOT... but really, >anymore, >I suppose it's not really when it comes to something like this.. > >Okay.. carry on! *smile* > >Tee <red faced and slinking away> > > >----- Original Message ----- >From: "David Bruce Jr" <dave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> >Subject: [website-critique] Re: I have a hosting customer who wants me to >host 20 domains for $50 > > > > > > bandwidth is what costs > > > > My server is really expensive because I have the 'fat pipe' > > > > If my calculations are correct, then $50 for one gig of traffic is not >bad > > > > not bad at all > > > > David _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com Free Domain To List Members: http://szaroconsulting.com/freedomain.htm ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List Info: //www.freelists.org/cgi-bin/webpage?webpage_id=websitecritique ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
