Thanks for the code, Peter!

As for the pictures... won't <img src="mem2.jpg" border=0 width="135"
height="130" align="right" hspace="10" vspace="3"> work the same way?  Won't
the hspace and vspace tags and the style="float: left" do the same things?

Look here http://www.clementsjobcorps.org/ then click on "Campus News" on
the left towards the bottom, then look at the text and pics. Is there
something I'm missing in what style="float: left" does? Thanks! :o)

The border can be achieved via CSS:

table {
       width: 80%;
   border: black 2px solid;
       padding: 0;
      }

style="float: left" allows the text to wrap a image. An example can be found
here: http://peterszaro.com/desktop/

Hi Peter,

In the properties for the pic here.. what is style="float: left" ? I see
the align="left" so I know it's not that... That is a new one on me.

Also, the way this page is and your page (your new ones), how do you get it
all to be centered and with border like that? It looks to me that it's more
than just using tables, but I could be wrong... and I'm not sure that NS
would handle a colored border around a table like that (or is it IE that
doesn't like them) anyway, I think it looks good like that, and I have a
school site I would like to do in that style.

Thanks,

Tee

I took a look at both the council page, as well as the street page and
everything looks according. I am running Netscape 6.01

And for the Mayor's page, use the following properties for the picture:

<img src="http://test.ngraphics.net/lcgov/images/mayorfamily2.gif";
height="276" vspace="6" align="left" style="float: left" width="180">

Overall, it is a great site!

Let us know how you make out!

              |Excuse the re-send, but I have been having probs,
              | so I wanted to be sure this went out okay.
              |

Please read below for a problem I am having. I need suggestions.

This site is about to be uploaded for a city government site, and I would
like some feedback. This was a neat site b/c we had to match our Creative
Director's ideas for site design while still making it fit the main
browsers.

http://test.ngraphics.net/lcgov/

But I have one thing in particular I need some input on. Netscape 6.1, with
the Council's page, the Street's page, the bottom row of the table is
popping up into the middle of the content of the above cell.

Another thing that is buggin' me is the way NS6.1 wraps text around
left-justified images. See Mayor as an example. Explorer and NS4.x treat
it perfectly, but at times NS6.1 will actually place the beginning of a <p>
block OVER the picture itself.

NOTE: If you don't see it, try refreshing a few times. It'll usually
appear.

Does anyone else know of this problem and is there something obvious or not
obvious that I am missing?
