Hey, Sharon,

Are they really that easy to find, as in unemployed and looking for
work? Or do you mean there are many out there, but you'll have to
recruit them away from their current gig? I ask since we're both in
Portland and my clients are always looking for developers.

Agreed. Developers are dime a dozen nowadays - you should have no  
trouble finding one, but it just won't be here.
