Senior Producer
Child.com
Child.com is looking for a senior producer who will oversee all editorial
material on CHILD magazine's Web site. Tasks include writing a weekly
newsletter, site headlines and blurbs, and In the News items. The senior
producer will also edit original Web stories, including monthly columns. In
addition, this individual will be responsible for updating a monthly Travel
Calendar and Kids' Calendar. The senior producer will select content for and
sign off on site updates, and work closely with community experts.
The ideal candidate will have a background in Web publishing and five years
writing and editing experience. An interest in and familiarity with the
parenting category is a plus. Strong computer skills, basic knowledge of
HTML, and experience working with Web content management system preferred.
