R/GA Seeks Producer for High Profile Sports Client
General Summary
Supervise large, high-profile, extremely creative project with long-term
client relationship. Responsible for completing projects on time and on
budget. Passion for basketball a must.
Responsibilities:
* Managing client projects using R/GA's unique development
methodology for implementing interactive software solutions. This
rigorous process includes overseeing user requirements gathering,
business and technical analysis, copywriting, interaction design, visual
design, programming, and quality assurance.
* Coordinating all aspects of web advertising projects from
initial proposal through completion, including: meeting with clients to
define business and marketing requirements, communicating client
business and technical requirements to programmers; writing
documentation including functional specifications, overseeing deployment
of web applications change requests, and quality assurance test plans;
and helping clients conduct acceptance testing as part of system
delivery.
* Working with technical and creative teams in multiple
locations from the earliest concept stage forward to ensure that the
most innovative technical, creative and production methods are employed.
* Communicating project status and issues to clients, internal
management at R/GA, and project team.
* Providing liaison assistance between clients and the Technical
Programming group and Strategy/Planning group regarding Marketing
objectives
* Managing a cross-functional team of programmers, visual
designers, interaction designers, testers, writers.
* Planning and maintaining goals, deliverables, schedules, and
budgets for the projects within client constraints.
* Acting as the company's main client interface on a daily basis
through meetings and written correspondence.
Knowledge / Experience / Ability
- 3 - 8 years managing creative teams developing interactive projects
- Industry expertise and experience in Interactive or Web Marketing
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Excellent negotiation skills specific to Interactive Projects
- Strong technical knowledge of WWW and the software quality assurance
process
