[wdmaudiodev] waveOutPause problem under XP SP2

I've just observed something strange with waveOutPause under Windows XP SP2. If there are multiple streams playing out through an audio device (via kmixer) and one of them is paused, the position of the paused stream (as reported by waveOutGetPosition) doesn't remain constant but jumps around randomly.

This only happens under SP2 - with earlier versions of XP the position of the paused stream remains constant regardless of whether there are other streams playing or not. The problem also appears to be independent of the actual hardware used.
