Hi Dave, yes this is a thing which occures on XP with my devices too. The only way I got that fixed is by declaring the Midi part as vendor specific and using my own driver for usbmidi. (my device is using usbaudio and usbmidi functions) BTW: Win ME does not show this behavour and W2000 +W98 usbaudio.sys does not support midi.
