I'm thinking of howto port an existing audio driver to 64-bit windows. I'm expecially interested in the user mode part (mme.dll).
Do I have to install a 32-bit or 64-bit .dll for an 32-bit application (the original .dll covers 32-bit and 16-bit therefore I think it has to be 64-bit now, but who knows)?
Does the following .inf script also work on 64-bit XP (I know it works on 32-bit systems) and installs my driver?
[mydriver.AddReg] HKR,,AssociatedFilters,,"wdmaud,swmidi,redbook" HKR,Drivers,SubClasses,,"wave,midi,mixer" HKR,Drivers\wave\mydriver_mme.dll,Driver,,mydriver_mme.dll HKR,Drivers\wave\mydriver_mme.dll,Description,,%mydriver.DeviceDesc% ...
