WHAT are you sending by IRP?  How did you get a device object to send
the IRP to?  How are you handling the IRPs?  MSVAD is an AVStream
driver.  IRPs are intercepted by the AVStream framework.

These are two devices within the same driver.  There's no real need to
use IRPs to communicate.  There are many ways to share a buffer within a
single driver.  I think you need to take some time away from the
keyboard to sketch out your design before you start coding.
