I don't understand this comment. There is no need to "create an Audio 2.0 class spec" -- the specification was created and approved in 2006, right? Are you trying to say that it may not make sense for Microsoft to invest in an Audio 2.0 Class driver at this point, because of its imminent replacement? If so, I would dispute that assertion. Any new spec is undoubtedly still several years away, and popular adoption several years beyond that. In the meantime, Audio 2.0 hardware is here NOW. -- Tim Roberts, timr@xxxxxxxxx Providenza & Boekelheide, Inc. ****************** WDMAUDIODEV addresses: Post message: mailto:wdmaudiodev@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subscribe: mailto:wdmaudiodev-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=subscribe Unsubscribe: mailto:wdmaudiodev-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe Moderator: mailto:wdmaudiodev-moderators@xxxxxxxxxxxxx URL to WDMAUDIODEV page: http://www.wdmaudiodev.com/
