[wdmaudiodev] Wave API - current padding ?

Hello,

I started exploring the windows audio APIs in the reverse order of their coming 
into existence. (WASAPI, then wave and dsound)

I am having trouble understanding the Wave API. I want to know if there is any 
such thing as "Current padding" in Wave ?
