Hi Stephen,

Having the Windows Logo has been a strong selling point for us, and we do have
customers whose IT departments won't allow hardware to be installed on any of
their systems unless it's Microsoft-certified. We've also received very
positive feedback from customers about the stability of our products, and I'm
sure a lot of that stems from going the extra mile to pass all the HCTs. It's
also my understanding that only signed audio drivers can play DRM-protected
content.

I'm very concerned that specialised products like ours are being shoehorned out
by the narrowing view of what constitutes an "acceptable" audio device. We
already have the minimalist functionality of the virtualised mixer API in Vista
and other reported difficulties with the beta releases, and I'm sure there'll
be further surprises for those devices that are a bit different from the norm
when RC1 finally appears.

Thanks for your comments on our NAB stand. By all accounts it was a very
successful show for us.

Jeff
