[wdmaudiodev] User GUI lag when running APO on offload pin

When APO runs on offload pin the buffer size can be up to 3 seconds. This
introduces a lag when user changes APO parameters from GUI. Is there a way
to eliminate this lag? E.g. is it possible to temporary reduce the buffer
size while the GUI is open?
