NT4 style drivers is what we call the DLLs loaded by the Drivers32 registry 
key.  They're really not drivers, they're more accurately extensions to winmm.

I just want to double-check that by "NT4 style" you are really talking about 
the WinMM installable drivers (midiIn and midiOut).  I don't think of those as 
"NT4 style", because they were actually introduced in the Windows 3.0 
Multimedia Extensions, LONG before NT 4.  Even before NT 3.1.
