This is all great news. Any information on new support documentation or info
will be very helpful, especially on access to the audio control endpoint for
user apps to control custom audiocontrol features!
Thanks for keeping us informed...

There we go! I have build 14931 up and running on a test box. UAC2 came right
up without any issues, and I'm playing music from Tidal. Thank you for making
this possible!
At the moment the driver is locked to 44.1. I haven't yet loaded DAC firmware
with debug. When I do that I'll let you know the performance of the async
feedback mechanism and other potentially interesting features. This version of
the DAC firmware uses a dedicated feedback endpoint, not ADC sample rate, to
adjust the PC's DAC data rate. It resorts to sample skip/insert, which I won't
hear here in my living room setup, but which will becomve obvious in the
debugger.
Cheers,

Robert,
your logic is flawless. MS should have excellent access to hardware. The
difference here is that the hardware is not an integrated chip but a fairly
straightforward C project on a generic MCU. The code is open source and the
hardware has good RS232 debug. So for each new LOC in the Host driver they can
put a test for that in the Device firmware.
My hope is that this cuts development time, as there is no need to have
everything up and running in one large chunk of code.

What do you mean ? We as a measly little company have acquired quite a
few sound cards to validate our software with. You mean Microsoft is without
means to do the same?
