[wdmaudiodev] Problems with USB Midi under ME & XP

Currently I try to to implement MIDI IO on my usbaudio HW for ME
and XP only.
I started with a simple Midi Device (no additional audio) with the
sample descriptors puplished at the Usb Midi Spec. After many
improvments mostly for correct bufferhandling I got my firmware
to work well under Me and XP.
Now my problems:
- some times I lose Midi Events on Midi In (Me and XP)
It seems that the Midi In requestrate is too slow for complex
midi files.
- I have one midi file which crashs my computer if it is played
over USB. The crash happens at the last 10 sec of that file
(mmtask hangs Me only) The file is played without any probs
on XP with the same firmware or if I use the software synth for
playback
- with the sample descriptors from the spec. XP can't reach
suspend mode. This is working under Me even if I am currently
playing some midi files. More over after leaving suspend mode
playback continiues.
Is there anything I should change in the descriptors ?
My testsetup:
- VIA USB Host Controller (Athlon CPU)
- Me with QFE 280127USAM.EXE
- XP with Q310507.exe
- MidiOX from www.midiox.com for testing midi
Any comments ?
