I'm trying to get my HD Audio codec driver to pass the DTM DRM test.

This seems to indicate that my driver's WaveRT Stream object does not implement the IDrmAudioStream interface. In actual fact a debug print trace indicates that nothing every querys my driver for this interface.

I've now also manually run this test using the in box (WHQL signed) UAA HD Audio driver and it also fails. This points at something else in the system causing the failure. Any suggestions on how to fix this short of reverting my installation back to a known good backup?

Msytery solved. It appears that this test is sensitive to clock skew between the DTM test client and the DTM controller. I've rerun the test today (with the same driver that failed before) and the test is now working. Thats what I get for running my DTM Controller in a Virtual machine. :)
