I dont agree with you. The wavecyclic driver has some issues, I have mentioned two of them:-during Stop: the last buffers are repeated because it takes some time until the hadware stops and the driver does not clear the audio buffer fast enough. Because of the architecture of the driver its not possible to change the behaviour, copying and clearing of the buffer is initiated by portclass.
-during Start: It is not possible to synchronise a stream to a running hardware. So you are losing the first few ms of your playback.
