Exactly, and not only that, no matter what model he chooses to use, he will have to depend on some "clock". And since there's no external hardware ticking the clock, he'll need to use the system timer in some manner!
Thanks. Devendra. Uwe Kirst wrote:
No, he can't. Remember that he's writing a VIRTUAL driver here. There is no hardware. WaveRT won't do that, because no one will be updating the circular buffer pointers. The pointers do not have to be registers. They could be calculated on request. You could query a timer to calculate how many samples have been processed./Uwe ****************** WDMAUDIODEV addresses: Post message: mailto:wdmaudiodev@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subscribe: mailto:wdmaudiodev-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=subscribeUnsubscribe: mailto:wdmaudiodev-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribeModerator: mailto:wdmaudiodev-moderators@xxxxxxxxxxxxx URL to WDMAUDIODEV page: http://www.wdmaudiodev.com/
