[wdmaudiodev] PIN instantiation behavior on vista.

Dear All,

I recently joined  the group and found the discussions are really helpful.I
appreciate all your efforts.

I am having a kernel streaming issue on vista.Its failing when i try to
render the audio for soundmax card.The main issue is the pin not getting
instantiated.I installed latest driver for soundmax for vista and tried but
not helpful.

Behaviour on XP: There is no issue on XP.The PIN was instantiated
successfully with STANDARD STREAMING MODE.The instantiation is successful
only with BASIC format but failed with EXTENDED format.

Vista:The instantiation failed both with BASIC and EXTENDED formats with
STANDARD STREAMING MODE on vista.Any thoughts why the PIN instantiation
failed on vista with both formats.Is there anything i am missing in the
initialisation.

Observation:The instantiation is successful when i changed the mode from
STANDARD STREAMING MODE to STANDARD LOOPING MODE.So does the vista driver
supports LOOPING MODE and not STANDARD STREAMING MODE.

It would be great and helpful if you guys can provide me your insights.
