You might also want to evaluate the marketability / ROI for your project as the 
cost of a developing a quality driver product with installer and appropriate 
Microsoft certification can easily hit 6 figures.

You might want to be more specific with your request, since developing a driver 
for a USB device is quite a bit different than for a PCI Express or Thunderbolt 
device.  How do your microphones connect to the computer?
