Hi, Jerry. There's good info in some of the WinHEC 2003 presentations. Take a look at: http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/winhec/pres03.mspx and expand the "Device & Bus Design & Drivers" section. The first three items are "Windows Longhorn Audio Architecture", "Windows Longhorn Audio/Video User Experience" and "The Universal Audio Architecture (UAA)". There's also a paper that describes UAA available at: http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/hwdev/tech/audio/UAA.mspx Hope that helps. -Dan ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Jerry Evans" <jerry@xxxxxxxxxx> > Subject: [wdmaudiodev] Longhorn Audio Services > Date: Thu, 30 Oct 2003 14:57:45 -0000 > > Is anyone here in a position to outline what we can/might expect > from Longhorn in terms of audio services ? ****************** WDMAUDIODEV addresses: Post message: mailto:wdmaudiodev@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subscribe: mailto:wdmaudiodev-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=subscribe Unsubscribe: mailto:wdmaudiodev-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe Moderator: mailto:wdmaudiodev-moderators@xxxxxxxxxxxxx URL to WDMAUDIODEV page: http://www.wdmaudiodev.de/
