I tried to add the KSPROPERTY_AUDIO_LATENCY property to my devicedriver,
but KSStudio allways reports
SyncIoctl: DeviceIoControl failed. Last Error = 0x000006f8
KsIrpTarget::GetPreparedProperty::get property KSPROPERTY_AUDIO_LATENCY
failed (got 0 bytes, expected 16)
Does anyone know what is going wrong? Uwe

Check KSPROPERTY_AUDIO_LATENCY. AFAIK no application queries this property right now. It would be great if it would be supported by SONAR. This would allow to properly align overdubbed recordings.

Hello,
does anyone know if there is a property or something like that in a WDM driver which tells the user application about the over all latency, including all buffers, A/D, D/A converter latency of the hardware?
I know that there is a funktion like that in ASIO (::getLatencies), but I'm asking for WDM.
Thanks, Uwe
