Testing my virtual WavePci miniport filter, I see that KSPROPERTY_CONNECTION_ALLOCATORFRAMING is never sent. As a result, IMiniportWavePciStream::GetAllocatorFraming is never called by PortCls. Windows audio subsystem uses as many (or as little) mappings as it wants. I monitor all driver property requests and see only two requests from KSPROPSETID_Connection are used: KSPROPERTY_CONNECTION_STATE and KSPROPERTY_CONNECTION_DATAFORMAT. How can I force the system to use KSPROPERTY_CONNECTION_ALLOCATORFRAMING property?
