Hi Neetu,in the doc of KSEVENT_PINCAPS_FORMATCHANGE it says that GenerateEventList is a method of IPortEvents.
I don't know any other way than using the port /miniport driver model. /Uwe Neetu Sand schrieb:
Hi Uwe,I am also trying to implement the dynamic format changes support but I am trying to implement that in streaming minidriver model. I have a question - what is the GenerateEventList equivalent for minidriver. I am using StreamClassDeviceNotification. Do you know if it works? Thanks, Neetu. On Fri, Nov 20, 2009 at 2:31 PM, uwekirst <u.kirst@xxxxxx <mailto:u.kirst@xxxxxx>> wrote:Hi all, I am trying to implement the dynamic format changes support in Win7, but I'm facing an issue: If I change the samplerate by calling GenerateEventList, the format list within the windows control panel is updated. But it happens from time to time (not allways) that the old format that was selected before I changed the samplerate is still available and still selected. If I play a sound, the new samplerate is used though. So it seems to me that this a display bug within the windows control panel. Any ideas? thanks, /Uwe ****************** WDMAUDIODEV addresses: Post message: mailto:wdmaudiodev@xxxxxxxxxxxxx <mailto:wdmaudiodev@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subscribe: mailto:wdmaudiodev-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx <mailto:wdmaudiodev-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>?subject=subscribe Unsubscribe: mailto:wdmaudiodev-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx <mailto:wdmaudiodev-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>?subject=unsubscribe Moderator: mailto:wdmaudiodev-moderators@xxxxxxxxxxxxx <mailto:wdmaudiodev-moderators@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> URL to WDMAUDIODEV page: http://www.wdmaudiodev.com/
