No.  You do understand this is not an official Microsoft support channel, and does not operate in real-time, don't you?  We're all volunteers here, helping where we can, when we can.  Sending 5 requests within 40 minutes on a Sunday demanding action is not a good way to build good feelings.  AC97 is more than 20 years old; you aren't going to find it piquing much interest today.

I'm afraid you will have to debug this yourself.  Maybe VirtualBox is making assumptions that aren't in the spec.  Maybe the delays inherent in VMs mean the pointers are wrapping.  There are web forums that suggest the audio works with Realtek's AC97 driver for Vista.
