The error message in my previous message was not the correct one. It turns out the one I posted was a fluke. This is the actual error we are having trouble with: Failure : Failed to determine Pass/Failure of the task "Run test". Task Will be marked as Failed anyway. Failure : Failed to Parse the LogFile Associated with the Execute Task Cause : Copying File "C:\WLK\JobsWorkingDir\Tasks\WTTJobRunCB8A5F7C-6F9B-4924-A19E-E48CBDB63F81\0 A29AD01-03BB-467F-B633-F7F795BD7ED5.xml" Fails Failure : Failed to Copy the Logfiles associated with the Execute Task Cause : Cannot Find Pattern "C:\WLK\JobsWorkingDir\Tasks\WTTJobRunCB8A5F7C-6F9B-4924-A19E-E48CBDB63F81\0 A29AD01-03BB-467F-B633-F7F795BD7ED5.xml" Cause : Copying LogFiles From TaskGuidXML "C:\WLK\JobsWorkingDir\Tasks\WTTJobRunCB8A5F7C-6F9B-4924-A19E-E48CBDB63F81\0 A29AD01-03BB-467F-B633-F7F795BD7ED5.xml" For Task "Run test" Cause : Copying File "C:\WLK\JobsWorkingDir\Tasks\WTTJobRunCB8A5F7C-6F9B-4924-A19E-E48CBDB63F81\0 A29AD01-03BB-467F-B633-F7F795BD7ED5.xml" Fails Failure : Failed to Copy the Logfiles associated with the Execute Task The folder C:\WLK\JobsWorkingDir\Tasks\WTTJobRunCB8A5F7C-6F9B-4924-A19E-E48CBDB63F81\ doesn't exist on either the HCK Server, or client Any ideas on why the log file is missing? The devices pass on some versions of Windows, but we have not been able to get them to pass on Win 7 (x86). Error 5/26/2014 7:59:15.606 AM The current device supports standard streaming but failed to instantiate. File: Line: 0 Error Type: BOOL Error Code: 0x0 Error Text: Error 0x00000000 We are testing USB audio devices. We use the in box drivers. We just add APOs to the in box driver. We've tested multiple USB devices which are based on different chipsets, but KS Position still fails. These are devices that passed the older version of the HCK tests. This feels like an issue with the test. I'm not the one that is running the tests, but I've been told that all errata and filters have been applied. Passing HCK is rapidly becoming critical, so any suggestions are appreciated. Leonard
