Subject: [EXTERNAL] [wdmaudiodev] Windows 11 HLK Verify APOs Work After an OS
Upgrade

Hello All,

The only test that is failing for us on Windows 11 HLK is the "Verify APOs Work
After an OS Upgrade".  I have found a couple of instances of people asking
questions about it on the MS Forums:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/561072/windows-11-hlk-verify-apos-work-after-an-os-upgrad.html<https://nam06.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fdocs.microsoft.com%2Fen-us%2Fanswers%2Fquestions%2F561072%2Fwindows-11-hlk-verify-apos-work-after-an-os-upgrad.html&data=04%7C01%7CMatthew.van.Eerde%40microsoft.com%7C0f8cf8e4a2cd4328809108d9a9486651%7C72f988bf86f141af91ab2d7cd011db47%7C1%7C0%7C637726950758658824%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&sdata=6O9c14p0ub9qtQUzbOppAENGWctpUfERZPRCh8DczGU%3D&reserved=0>

with no responses from Microsoft.

Can Microsoft confirm that we can leave that test off the list and still pass
HLK certification?  If not, how do we pass this test since it seems to not
really be doing anything on our test setup (just fails without actually testing
anything)?

Thank you,

David A. Hoatson
