[wdmaudiodev] Do ac3 and pcm comes to miniport driver through same interface?

Hello,
I am developing a virtual audio driver using DDK sample MSVAD \ ac3. I have
a query regarding this. Using the sample driver(MSVAD \ ac3), I am receiving
PCM data while playing an mp3 song through "CopyTo" function of IDMA
interface.. While playing an ac3 file also, I am getting the same result. Do
the same interface gives both pcm and ac3 data?
Anybody could help me by an answer?
