Hello Andrew, It sounds as if there are errors being produced by either the USB Audio driver or somewhere on the stack below that. What error messages (if any) are you receiving in your requests? There is nothing in the USB Audio driver that prohibit higher sample rates of 96kHz unless perhaps you are trying to receive 6 or 8 channels at 24bit or some other combination which would max out USB bandwidth.
